Laurel is stirred by the  ORGANIC, the STRANGE, and the MYSTICAL. 

Laurel specializes in visual story-telling. Her attention to detail, touch of humor, and lively art direction give her work heart. 
Her music video direction has landed premieres on Interview Magazine, NPR, Rookie, and Bullett Magazine, and her video Hourglass, for Lily and Madeleine, was named a “Top 10 Staff Pick” by Paste Magazine.
Laurel's narrative  films have screened at dozens of film festivals internationally, including San Francisco International Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival KIDS. She holds a B.A. in Film from Northwestern University and is a recipient of the Princess Grace Foundation's Cary Grant Film Award
An Indiana native, Laurel currently resides in Minnesota, where she continues to experiment with visuals for the digital screen. During a monthlong artist residency at Joshua Tree, she began developing a costume/photo/film series, entitled "Creature."
